A fun, relaxed session specifically for adults who want to get creative but maybe don't know where to start. All ages and abilities welcome (sometimes even 'artists' need space to play and get silly!). 16+, under 18's must be accompanied by an adult.
Why should the kids get all the fun? There are so many activities and workshops I've done with the art club kids that are just so much fun to do, and every time the grown ups come to collect they always say "Ooh I would love to give that a go!", but as an adult there just never seems to be the time or space to get messy and feel free to create. Well, here it is! This monthly (roughly) paint and play session is all about relaxing, feeling free, and playing with new materials whilst you meet, chat, and make something (or not, sometimes it's all about getting lost in the process rather than creating a masterpiece).
Each month will have a different theme, and a different set of materials to play with. The space is designed to be welcoming, and to give you the freedom to splat some paint about and not worry too much if you spill glue on the table.
If you make something that is just too wet and messy to carry home with you, you can collect it at a convenient date in the future.
Hot drinks are provided, but do feel free to bring a drink of something alcoholic if you like.
