A fun, relaxed session specifically for adults who want to get creative but maybe don't know where to start. All ages and abilities welcome (sometimes even 'artists' need space to play and get silly!). 16+, under 18's must be accompanied by an adult.
Why should the kids get all the fun? There are so manyactivities and workshops I've done with the art club kids that are just so muchfun to do, and every time the grown ups come to collect they always say"Ooh I would love to give that a go!", but as an adult there justnever seems to be the time or space to get messy and feel free to create. Well,here it is! This monthly (roughly) paint and play session is all aboutrelaxing, feeling free, and playing with new materials whilst you meet, chat,and make something (or not, sometimes it's all about getting lost in theprocess rather than creating a masterpiece).
Each month will have a different theme, and a different setof materials to play with. The space is designed to be welcoming, and to giveyou the freedom to splat some paint about and not worry too much if you spillglue on the table.
If you make something that is just too wet and messy tocarry home with you, you can collect it at a convenient date in the future.
Hot drinks are provided, but do feel free to bring a drinkof something alcoholic if you like.
