Mellor Wednesday April May term

We use a range of art materials following a different theme each half term and occasionally abandoning this theme for specific events happening in or around the school. Previously this has seen children creating art to enter for Apple Day, creating posters for the One World Festival in New Mills, or painting Christmas trees for Lyme Park.

Children will learn techniques and develop their art skills as well as their confidence. From painting, drawing and sketching to sculpting and model making, each child will learn techniques suitable for their age and ability.

Children can bring their own snacks with them to eat at the start of the session whilst we get the room ready and discuss what we will be doing (I know how hungry children get after school!). Please remember this is a NUT FREE SCHOOL.

Spaces are limited, so please ensure your child is keen to attend before booking them on.

Sibling discounts have been applied.

Both artist Pippa and assistant Kateryna are DBS checked and have appropriate levels of First Aid training.
