Enter the world of papermaking this half term, and create paper poltergeist, spooky haunted houses, and spectacular paper pumpkins! Tuesday 27th October, 11 - 2, The Arts-Co studio, New Mills.
Welcome to Little Puffin Paper Mill! Home of Little Puffin Paper, you're little artists will learn all about how paper is made, get to see the Hollander Beater in action (a real treat as there aren't many of these in the UK), and turn some freshly made pulp into ghosts, spooky houses complete with stained glass windows, and zentangle inspired pumpkins!
All art materials provided. Each little artist will take home their freshly made wet paper to dry at home, or they can leave it at the studio to dry and collect later in the week.
Children will need to bring a packed lunch to have as we have a movement and lunch break at 12.
Suitable for ages 6+. Parents do not need to stay unless the little artist wishes them to.
This session will be lead by Pippa, artist and papermaker, who is First Aid trained and holds an enhanced DBS certificate.
