Doodle, Paint and Play is a relaxed session designed to give adults the chance to switch off from the busy-ness of life and get a little bit creative. One Friday evening a month (7:30 pm - 9pm), select the date you'd like to book from the drop down tab. *Please note the 26th June session is cancelled due to small booking numbers and high temperatures *
Be guided by local artist Pippa, in a relaxed and creative setting of her own art studio, and switch off for an hour and a half each month. These sessions are a combination of the previously separate 'Dilly Dally Doodle Drawing Club' and 'Paint and Play' sessions. Each month we explore a different theme, starting with easy warm up activities leading into a playful creative session. With access to many different mediums, get as messy as you like! Create a finished piece of artwork or just get engrossed in the play and process, whatever you do you're sure to feel relaxed and happy by the end of it.
This is not a 'taught' session, but prompts and guidance will be given to encourage you to try different techniques and perhaps discover 'your thing'.
Open to the already arty as well as beginners, whether you draw portraits or stick men, all are welcome. All materials provided, sketchbooks available to purchase on the night at a discounted price.
Teas and coffees provided, or byob and have a more creative friday night with friends than one spent at the pub.
